Christianne graduated in 2013 from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics. She then moved to Japan, where she taught English immersion kindergarten for three years. Upon returning to Canada, Christianne worked as a support assistant for Toronto Public Health’s school immunization program.
In 2019, she began the Juris Doctor program at Windsor Law. During her law program, she was deeply involved in housing and social assistance clinic work as well as the Shkabewisag Student Law Society. She was a very active member of the 1492 Windsor Law Coalition, a student-faculty coalition that came together in support of 1492 Landback Lane.
Christianne is especially grateful to the Indigenous professors and support staff at Windsor Law who have worked to embed Indigenous Legal Orders into contemporary legal education, which she had benefitted greatly from.
Christianne has a black belt in Goju Ryu karate, and enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, Rex.
