Legacy of Residential Schools and Reconciliation- Law Society Event

The Law Society of Upper Canada, in partnership with Toronto Council Fire Native Cultural Centre, held a Reconciliation event on Thursday, September 10th entitled “Legacy of Residential Schools and Reconciliation- What Does It Mean for Us?”  The event featured an interview format discussion between Truth and Reconciliation Commissioner Dr. Marie Wilson, residential school survivor Garnet Angeconeb, and Honorary Witness CBC radio host Shelagh Rogers.  Julian Falconer extended greetings on behalf of the Law Society at this event.
