Black History Month 2017

Today, to kickoff Black History Month 2017, Falconers LLP Associate, Anthony Morgan will be participating in a candid discussion at the Toronto Public Library on the achievements of Toronto’s Black communities, the Black Lives Matter movement, and race-relations in Canada. Joining the conversation will be journalist, Desmond Cole, and Black Lives Matter representative Melissa Robbyn-Giselle Theodore. The discussion will be hosted by the Toronto Star’s Morgan Campbell.

On Friday, February 3, 2017, Falconers LLP Associate, Anthony Morgan will be speaking at Osgoode Hall Law School as a panelist during an expert seminar entitled, “United Nations International Decade for People of African Descent: Access to Justice”. This meeting of experts drawn from all over the world will have an international focus, participation and impact while considering the Canadian context and national legal framework in relation to access and delivery of justice for people of African descent.
