The Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Inquiry Holds Final Hearings in Ottawa this Week
Today, on behalf of Treaty Alliance Northern Ontario – Nishnawbe Aski Nation/Grand Council Treaty 3, Falconers LLP lawyer, Krystyn Ordyniec, will be presenting the oral closing submission at the National Inquiry into the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls at 3:40 pm EST.
This week will conclude the oral closing submissions of the parties with standing for the National Inquiry into MMIWG. The hearings are taking place in Ottawa from Monday, December 10 through Friday, December 14, 2018.
The Commissioners are expected to submit their final report to the federal government by April 30, 2019.
