Debwewin First Nation Jury Review Committee Meeting May 17 and 18
The Debwewin First Nation Jury Review Committee meets in Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation, May 17-18, 2016.
The First Nation Jury Review Committee was one of the key recommendations from Justice Iacobucci’s report, First Nations Representation on Ontario Juries. There are 11 members on the Committee: 3 representatives from the government, 2 from the judiciary, and 6 from the Aboriginal community. The committee oversees the review and implementation of the Report’s recommendations.
