October 20 & 21, 2015- Debwewin First Nation Jury Review Committee Meeting
The First Nation Jury Review Committee will meet on October 20 & 21, 2015, at the Da Vinci Centre in Thunder Bay.
The First Nation Jury Review Committee was one of the key recommendations from Justice Iacobucci’s report, First Nations Representation on Ontario Juries. There are 11 members on the Committee: 3 representatives from the government, 2 from the judiciary, and 6 from the Aboriginal community. The committee oversees the review and implementation of the Report’s recommendations.
