Crisis Legal Supports

Falconers LLP has been providing legal services dating back some 30 years, and specializes in providing supports in those moments when our clients face true despair. Whether it involves deaths at the hands of the state, or other, different forms of crisis, we are there. With the COVID-19 pandemic, we all face new personal and professional challenges. Falconers LLP is honoured to continue to help in times of crisis.

During these challenging times, Falconers LLP is supporting our clients through the Covid-19 emergency with a variety of crisis management services, in addition to our regular legal services.

Covid-19 Community Supports

Falconers LLP is supporting communities by providing legal advice and template documents in respect of border closures, community travel bans, and Covid-19 community measures. The templates are designed to assist communities in implementing measures to stop the spread of Covid-19.

Policing

Our firm is working with Nishnawbe Aski Police Service, Treaty Three Police Service, and Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service by providing legal advice and template documents in respect of enforcement of border closures, community measures, and travel bans. These templates are designed to ensure maximum cooperation between communities and First Nation police services, while maintaining independence of the police service from government.

We are also here to provide legal advice regarding employment law and occupational health and safety requirements for First Nation Services.
