On June 26, 2026, Falconers LLP Associate Erin McMurray, Law Clerk Athar Ali, along with law students Taylor Campbell and MiShele Lapham had the privilege of attending the fifth annual Student Golf Tournament hosted by the Independent First Nations Alliance (“IFNA”) at Whitewater Golf Club in Thunder Bay.
This year’s tournament was held in support of Thunder Bay’s post-secondary First Nation students. Proceeds from the tournament were provided to Oshki-Wenjack, Confederation College, and Lakehead University to assist First Nation students with bursaries along their educational journeys.
It was a wonderful day spent with community members, supporters, and organizations committed to creating meaningful opportunities for First Nation students.
Falconers LLP was honoured to support this important initiative. Although Erin, Athar, Taylor, and Mishele may not have taken home the winning prize, they were proud recipients of the “Most Honest Golfers” prize.
Falconers is proud to stand alongside IFNA in supporting opportunities that empower students today for the betterment of future generations. We are grateful to IFNA for hosting such a meaningful event and for the opportunity to be part of this year’s tournament.
